Something players won’t want to overlook is augmenting their items as it’s a way for their already strong gear to get even stronger. It was later changed to just “Set ”.The start of a new season can be overwhelming in Diablo 3, and there are plenty of ways for players to fine tune their builds. Trivia: When Diablo III was first released, Set items were actually labeled “Legendary Set ” in their tooltip. Then I added the sentence, “Legendary” items include Primal and Set items. So, in response to the OP: I simply told them that only Ancient items can be augmented and they DO NOT have to be Primal items. Not all Legendary items (including Set items) are Ancient.Primal items are upgraded versions of Ancient items.Ancient items are upgraded versions of Legendary items (including Set items).I guess you meant “Primal and Ancient” instead of “Primal and Set” “Legendary” items include Primal and Set items. Oh, and just so you know, your items DO NOT have to be Primal to be augmented. Tip: In the future, never use the Gem of Ease to augment your items. In short, you forgot to add your 3 Flawless Royal Gems. ![]() My guess is: You were trying to complete the Season Journey Objective, Power Amplification, for the Conqueror Chapter and inadvertently used the Work of Cain Recipe instead of Caldesann’s Despair.
